Great tips! As a speech strategist and executive coach, I always provide a speaker introduction before a presentation. It should be different from the one you have on your website or that you send with your CV. A speaker introduction needs to rev up the energy in the room so the audience is excited to hear you speak.

A poor public speaking introduction can create a downward spiral. A good introduction, like a movie trailer, can entice the audience and build the speaker’s momentum. Here are my tips for a great introduction: http://ow.ly/aoCkE
